ABOUT ME
Hello there, my name is Cooper Wilson
and I have been involved with animals, especially horses and dogs, all my life. I grew up in a family where there
were always animals around, and both my father and grandfather before me were horsemen and jockeys. I have communicated emotionally and
physically with horses for as long as I can remember. I have always been able to
sense intuitively what horses need and what their problems are, and now
use this gift to help other horses and owners. I now offer animal
communication, healing and Reiki, along with equine ambulance and transport
services, barefoot trimming and healing livery from my yard in North Yorkshire,
although I am happy to travel to any part of the country.
I
have worked for trainers Jimmy
Fitzgerald, David Chapman and Pat Rohan as a stable lad, and have been head-lad
on a hunt livery yard. I have worked closely with vets on post mortems whilst
working as a fell monger. I have competed in Point to Point races, Team
Chases and Cross Country events and have been breaking horses and ponies since I
was 12 years old.
This experience has given me a deep understanding of horses
and how to work with them, something that cannot be learnt from a book or
course. I believe that I have served a lifetime apprenticeship with horses and
that they have allowed me to develop a gift that I can now begin to repay. They
continue to teach me about life in my interactions with them. I always give
horses the choice and work with what they offer me. In this way they learn to
trust me, and allow me to work with them to heal.
